We are Passionate about animal welfare and care. Hobbyists with a real drive and enthusiasm for ethical breeding. We feel very strongly about educating new and existing owners of Reptiles and animals on the correct care and requirements to allow them to grow and thrive. Not just survive!

We have seen too many cases of animals that have had to be re-homed or rescued after being sold by unethical breeders, and this is so upsetting. 

At Scales and Shells, we are committed to stopping this, by offering correct care and education before sale and ongoing support after sale of any animal. We do not let any animal leave the premises before first checking where it is going to be housed, with the correct equipment. We want to try and replicate the natural environment as much as we can for the animals to live long and healthy lives.
